2018

Foundation

Studio Amalgam was founded by Chinmay Asolkar, guided by the belief that interior design is not just about aesthetics but about creating spaces that enrich everyday life. The studio began its journey with a simple yet profound vision: to merge creativity and functionality into spaces that reflect individuality while standing the test of time.
2019

First Landmark Project

Our breakthrough came with the successful completion of a luxury bungalow project, which set the foundation for our reputation in bespoke residential design. This project became a statement of our philosophy — combining traditional warmth with modern sophistication — and opened doors to new opportunities in the high-end housing sector.
2020

Expanding Horizons

Building on early success, Studio Amalgam ventured into commercial and hospitality interiors, taking on projects such as corporate offices, real estate workspaces, boutique restaurants, and lounges. This marked a shift from purely residential design to creating multi-functional, high-performance spaces that influence work culture and guest experiences alike.
